Pamela Carder Fletcher

After leaving high school I went to Cal and then to law school. I practiced for 29 years, first at Morrison & Foerster and most recently at Clorox, where I was a Vice President, Corporate Secretary and did mergers and acquisitions and handled all of the company’s employment law matters. I left Clorox last year to pursue a career as an interior designer. I am currently enrolled in the interior design program at Las Positas College. I am also a painter and ceramic artist.

I have two children, Mat and Ben. They went to Miramonte, where they were on the varsity basketball team. Mat is 28 this year and attended Whitworth College, where he played basketball. He is a store planner with Ross Stores and lives in Oakland with his girlfriend. Ben is 26 and is a crew coach for the University of Washington. He rowed for UW, winning two national championships. This spring he coached his varsity four to a national championship. He just returned from a regatta in Moscow.

My husband, Dan, and I live in Lafayette. Dan has three children and his daughter and son each have two children. He is an accomplished ceramic artist and exhibits in juried shows, Fourth Street Studio in Berkeley and at open studios we have at our home. We travel frequently and have visited 39 countries in the last ten years.
